Build strength for life.
Fitness should support the life you want to live. Together we build a strong, capable body — and a way of training that changes as you do.

WHO I TRAIN
No single type of person. One shared idea.
Everyone who trains with me wants the same thing underneath the goal: a body that holds up. The programming changes — the principle doesn't.
Fat loss + Strength
The 40-something rebuild
Sitting at a desk all week, carrying weight you'd rather not, and tired of programs that last three weeks. We lift, we walk, we keep it sustainable — body fat drops and strength climbs at the same time.
One-on-one boxing
Boxing for women
Pads, footwork and real technique in a private session — no sparring unless you want it. It's the fastest confidence builder I coach, and it's conditioning that never feels like cardio.
Small group
Train with your people
Friends, couples, workmates. Small numbers so every person still gets coached properly, with the accountability that only comes from someone expecting you on Tuesday.
Junior athletes
Kids rugby skills
Contact confidence, footwork, passing under pressure and safe strength work for growing bodies. Coaching that builds athletes, not burnt-out twelve-year-olds.
Powerlifting
Getting seriously strong
Squat, bench, deadlift, coached properly. Whether you're chasing a first bodyweight bench or a platform total, the technique work is the same and it never stops paying off.
Calisthenics
Owning your own bodyweight
Pull-ups, dips, control through full range. The kind of strength you can take to a park, a hotel room or a beach — no gym required, ever.
MY STORY
Strength you can still use in thirty years.
Angus — Coach, G Fitness
My name is Angus, and my goal is simple: to help people build strength and create a way of training that can stay with them for life.
I've been involved in sport most of my life — boxing, soccer and rugby — with the past seven-plus years dedicated to boxing, powerlifting and calisthenics. I also grew up learning from my dad, a two-time Australian boxing champion, who taught me the value of hard work, accountability, and looking after your body for the long term.
My own experience taught me that fitness doesn't need to be complicated. I've made the mistake of chasing rigid programs and numbers, believing that more complexity meant better results. Over time my philosophy became much simpler.
Fitness should give you more freedom, not less.
Your body, your goals and your life will change — and your training should be able to change with them. That's what lifelong strength means to me: a strong, capable body you can rely on at 40, 50, 60 and beyond. No quick fixes. No unnecessary complexity.
30s
Build the base. Learn to lift well while life is busy.
40s
Hold body fat down, keep muscle on, stay off the injury list.
50s
Strength becomes protection. Bone, joints, balance.
60s
Carry your own bags. Get off the floor. Keep playing.
Beyond
Independence — the thing every year of training was really for.
COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Three rules I coach by.
01
Simple beats clever
The best program is the one you'll still be doing in six months. We keep the movements few, the progress measurable, and the sessions something you can actually turn up to.
02
Training bends to your life
Work trips, kids, a bad week, an old shoulder. Your plan flexes around all of it instead of collapsing the first time life gets in the way.
03
Build for the long term
No quick fixes and nothing that costs you later. Every session should leave you more capable at fifty than you were at thirty.
NEW CLIENTS
3 free 1-on-1 sessions
